South Hobart Sustainable Community (SHSC) and the Good Car Company are inviting people to join them in an electric vehicle bulk-buy. SHSC is a not-for-profit that has previously delivered solar photovoltaic (PV) systems and solar hot water bulk-buys to the South Hobart Community, as well as a range of other community ventures.
The Bulk-Buy is an opportunity to make a step-change in transport in South Hobart and send ripples throughout Australia. Other benefits include:

Battery checks before purchase as well as software, English language manual, conversion of headunit and instrumentation from Japanese to English and new 10A charger
Pass through auction savings to participant, quoted prices are maximum payable and may be considerably less

We are presenting two models of Nissan Leaf, in two quality bands. The 24kWh vehicles is suitable for town driving and short commutes. The 30kWh model is suitable for longer trips and will be suitable for travel though out the states thanks to the new Tasmanian fast charger network that is being introduced.
The bulk buy will be launched at 7pm, 20 November at South Hobart Primary School
A technical information session will be held at 7pm, 4 December at South Hobart Primary School.
