Australia’s first electric vehicle bulk-buy
Our inaugural bulk-buy was a partnership with the South Hobart Sustainable Community (SHSC). SHSC is a not-for-profit that has previously delivered solar photovoltaic (PV) systems and solar hot water bulk-buys to the South Hobart Community, as well as a range of other community ventures. The Bulk-Buy ran from November to December 2019. Picture are members of the SHSC.
Information Sessions

Test Drive
All participants were invited to have a test drive of a Nissan leaf. This process demystified the vehicles and shows how effortless electric cars are.
Delivering Electric Cars
In total 24 vehicles were delivered in the South Hobart Bulk-Buy. Customers received clean, green “as new” cars. All cars came with a complementary 10A charger and cars are now being charged off our abundant sunlight and hydro power.
Changing the story
The stories we are now telling about travel are changing. Our clients are now talking and showing how we can decarbonise transport. The streets of our town are now cleaner and quiter. Whats more our utilities are now paying attention to the EV revolution, changing the narritive to show that the future is here. Together, we can change the story.
